Whispering Fields is a log house situated on 11 acres of rolling farmland in Queens County, Prince Edward Island. Perched near the crest of a hill, the house offers great views of the surrounding valley and forest. Whispering Fields is named for the mild breezes that rise up from the valley below most of the time. This natural environment is a product, as well, of the dwelling's location on a lightly-traveled,off-the-beaten-path historic road. Whispering Fields was built in 2005 and features two sleeping areas, a large living room, loft, fully-featured kitchen, and front porch that extends the length of the building. A cathedral ceiling gives a very open feel and plenty of windows allow for a very well-ventilated and bright interior.
Whispering Fields has a remote feel, but amenities are actually a fairly short distance away. The cities of Charlottetown and Summerside are reached in about 25 minutes. The nearest public beach (and one of the most attractive on the island) is 20 minutes away. A service station, convenience store, pharmacy, cafe, restaurant, and ATM are within a 10 minute drive.
